  1. Well said Carter. This is precisely the reason I shy away from the title of consultant or executive coach. I’m a hybrid of the two. I rely on my business acumen as a former executive, my emotional intelligence training/certification, and my overall leadership experience to suit my client’s needs. Some say I dilute the integrity of the coaching profession, by offering “best practice” solutions. Management consulting purist, might argue that improving performance and metrics should be the sole focus of my role. Today’s clients demand both.
